Day 1: Edinburgh to Oban

Journey begins 8.30am. From Edinburgh, we head north experience views of magnificent Stirling Castle in addition to great Wallace Monument. Crossing from the Lowlands to the Highlands, we pass the medieval powerful your hands on Doune Castle as present in Outlander and Game of Thrones before eerie Glencoe, house for some of Scotland’s most iconic scenery in addition to setting associated with infamous 1692 massacre

Day 2: Oban to Skye

Going north to Fort William we pass beneath the shadow of Ben Nevis, Britain’s greatest hill. We take-in Glenfinnan, the memorial built-in memory of Bonnie Prince Charlie's campaign to claim the throne of Scotland in 1745. You have the opportunity to travel on the famous Jacobite Steam train and take the 'path into the Isles' on the road to the Isle of Skye. (summer time route)

Time 3: Isle of Skye

Today we explore the wonderful Isle of Skye, also referred to as the ‘winged isle’ or ‘Isle of Mist’. Well-known for its ruined castles, awesome surroundings and famous MacLeod and MacDonald Clans, you will be immersed in Celtic urban myths and Viking legends, hear stories are plentiful with faeries and battles and explore the windswept hill terrain and tough coastline before driving breathtaking Eilean Donan Castle on return to the mainland.

Day 4: Skye to Loch Ness

We begin the day with beast spotting as our journey north takes united states to Loch Ness and at night ruins of Urquhart Castle. Then the eerie moor of lonely Culloden Battlefield awaits as we notice stories of Bonnie Prince Charlie additionally the tragedy of his defeat followed closely by mysterious and ancient Clava Cairns, both present in Outlander. Today we obtain the opportunity to taste a drop of 'water of life' at a whisky distillery

Day 5: Loch Ness to Edinburgh

Our journey takes us from Loch Ness past the Commando Memorial southward to explore the forests and salmon stuffed streams of Perthshire. We go to the heart of Macbeth country because of the great Dunkeld cathedral after which simply take a hike in to the beautiful woodlands and waterfalls regarding the Hermitage. Just before arriving back in Edinburgh we pass the famous Forth Bridge which has recently accompanied the list of Scotland's UNESCO websites. We return around 5.00pm
